Since the band’s inception in 2019 , NO CIGAR has grown a fiercely loyal fanbase across the globe. Fresh off the back of their European tour, NO CIGAR are sharing their third album, ‘Under the Surface’ in their album that was designed for the live-experience and showcases the special energy the band radiates. Given the humbling international reactions from two European tours and multiple Australian, they now have their eyes set on the big stage, with the music and show to match.
Their recent escape to Europe proved to be well worth the travel, selling out well known venues including the 950+ cap ‘Islington Assembly Hall’ in London. The response was immense and a meaningful experience to remind the members to carry on inspiring people through sharing their musical journey and the music of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
The release of their second album ‘The Great Escape’ in December 2023 cemented their dedicated listenership with top charting songs on New Zealand’s largest radios. They have been in the top 20 New Zealand albums for over a year.
