COUSIN TONY’S is an alternative rock band from the inner city of Melbourne, Australia. Evolving out of
the music communities and famous rock pubs around Fitzroy, their music is uplifting, infectious and highly original.
With a steadily building discography and a passionate growing fan base, Cousin Tony’s is carving out a reputation as one of Australia’s most innovative, entertaining and authentic bands.
About to tour the UK and Europe this October, the ‘bird are spreading their wings and taking their music overseas.
Formed in 2015 by singer songwriter Lachlan Rose, Cousin Tony’s started with a few friends meeting at a weekly community pop up performance space.
It wasn’t long before Rose was writing, recording and performing his own songs for a debut EP – the “Queen Of Hearts” EP, under the moniker Cousin Tony’s – a name taken from dialogue in the closing scene of American Beauty. After hearing the songs Rose recorded for the EP, Sydney artist development label Double Drummer Music committed to make Lachlan Rose and Cousin Tony’s one of the company’s first signings in 2016.
A second EP and three albums have followed, cementing Rose’s reputation as an important new Australian songwriter, and highlighting the band’s unique style, live appeal and infectious music.
